Reasons for replacement of carbon molecular sieve in nitrogen machine:
1. Life Expiration/Aging of Carbon Molecular Sieves
The production capacity of carbon molecular sieve of nitrogen machine decreases by 5% annually (the aging problem of carbon molecular sieve is inevitable). If the nitrogen machine is used for too long, the quality of carbon molecular sieve will deteriorate and the purity of nitrogen produced will be low. The purity can be restored by replacing carbon molecular sieves. After a certain period of service, special attention should be paid to the maintenance of nitrogen machine.
2. Carbon molecular sieve poisoning caused by oil or water entering nitrogen machine
Carbon molecular sieve poisoning can be caused by improper operation and maintenance during the use of nitrogen machine. For example, in the early stage of air purification, there is no treatment equipment or equipped equipment running with diseases, which results in oil, water and impurities being poisoned by carbon molecular sieves adsorbed directly into the adsorption tower with air. The analytical ability is seriously damaged, and the nitrogen production quantity and purity are greatly reduced. In such cases, users should replace the air filter, automatic sewage valve and deoiling activated carbon in time according to production needs. The most important thing is to replace carbon molecular sieve in the adsorption tower of the nitrogen machine, so as to restore the normal nitrogen production capacity of the nitrogen machine.
3. Nitrogen Making Machine by Pulverizing and Spraying Carbon Molecular Sieve
Pressure devices of nitrogen machines from different manufacturers are different. The existing cylinder pressure, spring pressure and air bag pressure are different. Although the compressed cylinder can be monitored in real time, it emits black smoke due to the crushing damage of carbon molecules caused by the lack of time to add. At this time, the whole system needs to completely replace the carbon molecular sieve. If carbon molecular sieves are added normally at this time, carbon molecular sieves will be continuously ejected, and the consequences will become more and more serious. The whole nitrogen pipeline system will have carbon molecular sieve powder for nitrogen machine.
4. The lack of carbon molecular sieve in nitrogen machine caused by structural damage of nitrogen machine system and pipeline de-welding
Structural faults of adsorption tower are caused by vibration or equipment movement during the use of nitrogen machine, such as pipeline de-welding of adsorption tower, outflow of carbon molecular sieve, loosening and pulverization of carbon molecular sieve. In this case, it is necessary to inspect the gas tightness of the adsorption tower structure of the nitrogen machine, find out the de-welding position and replace the brand-new carbon molecular sieve.
