Necessity of Dryer and Filter in Nitrogen Making Machine System

First, let's learn about the pressure swing adsorption nitrogen machine. Its working principle is that the raw compressed air passes through the air source purification system to remove the impurities such as oil mist and water, and then enters the adsorption tower filled with carbon molecular sieve. One of the adsorption towers is in the state of adsorption, and impurities such as O2 in the air are adsorbed. The high purity nitrogen gas flows out from the top of the tower. At the same time, the other adsorption tower quickly completes the exhaustion of the tower and removes the adsorbed impurities such as O2. This process is controlled by the computer PLC continuous cycle. The process flow is that the pretreated clean compressed air enters tower A from the air intake valve of tower A. After adsorption by molecular sieve in tower A, high purity nitrogen is flowed out from the outlet valve of tower A. At the same time, tower B is regenerated. When tower B is regenerated, tower A is switched to adsorption tower B and regenerated in turn.

Dryers are divided into freezing dryers and adsorption dryers. Their main function is to remove moisture from compressed air and make the air drier and cleaner. The filter can be divided into several grades according to the filtering accuracy, such as primary, precision and high precision. Its main function is dust removal and oil removal to ensure that the back-end nitrogen generator can work better and prolong the service life of carbon molecular sieve. Therefore, dryer and filter are indispensable and important components of nitrogen production system.
